The Yellow Ribbon Fund (YRF) is the sole beneficiary of our CSR activities
Since 2011, SAL has adopted YRF as the sole beneficiary of its CSR activities. SAL recognises the importance of the rehabilitation process in the administration of criminal justice and giving second chances to ex-offenders.

The Chief Justice's Cup (CJ's Cup)
Each year, hundreds of members from the Singapore Academy of Law come together for an exhilarating morning of futsal at the CJ’s Cup. Since its inception in 2015, this annual tournament has solidified its place as a marquee event on the legal community's calendar, providing a welcome break from work while fostering camaraderie and supporting a worthy cause.
The tournament is dedicated to raising funds for the Yellow Ribbon Fund - SAL STAR (Skills Training Assistance to Restart) Bursary, with law firms contributing through team registrations and thousands of SAL members making individual contributions. Since 2024, the tournament has also raised funds for the Singapore After-Care Association’s Volunteer Aftercare Programme.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the teams, sponsors and donors, who make each edition of the CJ’s Cup a roaring success. With their support, we have raised about 715,000 across the years.
