SINGAPORE, 9 January 2023 —The Honourable the Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon announced the appointment of two new Senior Counsel at the Opening of Legal Year today. They are:

·       Mr Kelvin Poon Kin Mun SC (潘健文) (aged 47)

·       Mr Wong Woon Kwong SC (黄文光) (aged 40)

Applications for Senior Counsel opened in August 2022 and were reviewed by a Senior Counsel Selection Committee comprising:

·       The Honourable the Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon

·       The Honourable Attorney-General Lucien Wong SC

·       The Honourable Justice Judith Prakash, JA

·       The Honourable Justice Tay Yong Kwang, JA

·       The Honourable Justice Steven Chong, JA

·       The Honourable Justice Belinda Ang, JA
